😀 About Me
I'm Ernest, a product designer based in Toronto 🇨🇦. I studied System Engineering and Engineering Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, which shaped how I think about design: not just as visuals, but as interconnected systems with real constraints and real users.
My most significant project was leading the end-to-end design of a government-backed internship platform for Cyberport Hong Kong. Starting from zero, I defined user needs, designed the full information architecture, and prototyped across three user portals, all within a three-month deadline. The platform has since facilitated over 5,000 applications from more than 2,000 students across the Greater Bay Area.
I care about making things that are genuinely useful. Products where the design is invisible because everything just works.
